With all the glitz and glamour that surrounds award shows, we had to chime in with a Kate Aspen spin on it. Libations Galore
Who doesn’t love a good Sunday night party? It’s time to grab some champagne and let the bubbly flow! Make sure your soiree is stocked with all the libations it needs to get the night going. Whether you’re cheering as your favorite actors take the stage or taking a shot or two to get over their losses, alcohol always makes these events a little more fun!
DIY Tip: Make cocktails inspired by some of the Best Picture nominees to get your guests in the mood. They’ll look so cute inside these gold confetti cups!
Celebrate Cinema
Can’t think of what else to include at your event? Well it’s a night of celebrating movies, so why not bring some lobby snacks to the mix? Popcorn, movie theater-sized snacks and soda are our top picks to munch on during a film.
We even splurged for some classic Coca-Cola bottles, because who can resist popping open a nice cold Coke with our glittering heart bottle opener?!
Desserts are a Must
Our Party in a Box comes with decorative picks, so desserts are obviously on the menu for the evening! We went with chocolate because it pairs with the black and gold theme so well, but also because chocolate is oh so delicious!
Give Awards of Your Own
It’s a night to recognize the best of the best, so why not spread that recognition to your guests? Make awards of your own for your party; “best dressed,” “most excited” “cutest couple”, and have your guests vote on the winners when they arrive. Fill favor boxes, like our pyramid shaped favor boxes, with candy or trinkets and pass them out to your guests. When the awards have been given out, the remaining participants can also take home a favor, because everyone’s a winner during the best night of the year!
Mark Your Ballots
We’re pretty competitive when it comes to awards portion of the evening! It’s always so much fun to print out ballots and encourage your guests to vote for their favorites, and this year is no exception.
