This modern take on a 1920s Boardwalk Empire theme mixed with a few rustic touches makes for one unique shoot! Edward Lai Photography brought this art deco wedding inspiration to life with rich marsala and peach florals and small rustic touches. Even Gatsby would be envious!
A Vintage Chic First Look
Vintage style is a must for the bride and groom. A beautiful beaded gown with layered necklaces and a jeweled headpiece are a gorgeous Roaring 20s style for the bride. A gray tweed suit paired with a light blue shirt and a unique pocket square creates one dapper look for the groom.
Deep Reds and Rustic Touches
Rich marsala and peach roses cascaded across the table for a lush centerpiece. Antlers tucked among the blooms were a sleek rustic touch, and maroon velvet added a beautiful texture to each chair.
An Elegant Second Look
The bride and groom’s second look is full of glam! Detailed beading, layered pearls, and Hollywood-inspired waves bring together one dazzling look for the bride.
What’s more dashing than a suit and tie? A black bow tie, feather and flower boutonniere, and silky pocket square combine perfectly for one sophisticated ensemble for the groom.
A Debonair Cigar Bar
A 20s-inspired wedding wouldn’t be complete without a cigar bar. To create a decorative speakeasy feel, layer boxes of cigars and accessories on top and around vintage mirrors.
The Hunt is Over Details
Rustic “The Hunt Is Over” accents were unconventional choices to include with a 1920s theme, but it worked incredibly well! Antlers and a modern geometric stag detail were prevalent from the wedding cake to the wedding invitation suite.
