A Bohemian wedding usually features jewel tone colors in shades of brown, green, and orange, metallics, shabby chic wood accents and an array of green plants and lush succulents. Bohemian style is the perfect touch of rustic vintage meets artistic flair. The more eclectic the wedding decor, the better. And if you’re planning on having a bohemian wedding of your own, this bride and groom rocked a bohemian style summer wedding right on the beach. You’ll want to keep reading for inspiration!
Bohemian Wedding Decorations
Metallic accents are a must. The bride and groom chose champagne flutes with “Mrs.” and “Mr.” written in metallic script on each designated glass. They definitely toasted in style.
Rather than going with traditional bouquets overflowing with colorful flowers, the wedding reception centerpieces featured a host of greenery. Leaves flowed across the simple white tablecloths with the occasional dots of flowers.
This leafy green and lightly floral aesthetic was carried through to the table place cards, like with this “Reserved” sign for the head table.
To rock the rustic bohemian feel, the bride and groom placed wood wreaths in front of their places at the reception.
The couple set up an area for guests to take their own succulents home after the reception. The wedding favors aligned perfectly with their wedding theme.
A Bohemian Bridal Party
The couple held their wedding on the beach in the summer, so a black tuxedo just wouldn’t do. Instead, the groom wore a light blue suit with a navy tie and brown shoes.
The groom was elated to see his bride and was blown away once he saw her.
The bride wore a beautiful white lace dress with bell selves that flowed effortlessly as she walked.
With the beach as their backdrop, the bride and groom took some lovely photos that they’ll be able to reminisce on for years to come after the wedding.
The soft, muted colors of the bridesmaids’ dresses, along with the leafy pattern, go perfectly with this bohemian wedding. Their bouquets were filled with pastel blooms and beautiful greenery.
The Ceremony and Reception
The bride walked down the aisle with her father in one hand and her bohemian-styled bouquet of coral flowers in the other.
They exchanged vows in front of their friends and family on the beach with the ocean as their back drop.
The bride and groom walked hand in hand as they exited the sandy aisle with lush green leaves.
Right before the reception, the newly married couple shared an intimate photo with the photographer.
Since the ceremony took place on the beach, the couple left out a basket of brushes so guests could brush the sand off their feet before entering the reception.
The couple was greeted with cheers and congrats as they entered their reception. Strings of light hung above the reception tables for some added romantic lighting.
Since bohemian style has a rustic element to it, they used this rustic aesthetic in the bride and groom’s chair decorations.
The dessert table was decked out in the sweetest mini pastries for guests to enjoy.
The couple opted for a two-tier semi-naked cake with chocolate dripping down each tier.
The happy couple was excited and ready to cut their cake.
This wedding was filled with beautiful, beach moments and bohemian vibes.
