A Historic Venue
The couple couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue. In the heart of Charleston’s historic district, the Kings Courtyard Inn embodies the city’s energy. Built in 1853 by Colonel Charles Blum, the inn is one of the oldest buildings on King Street. Charleston architect, Francis D. Lee, designed the building in the Greek revival style, and the structure is accented by Egyptian architectural detailing. During the 1800s, the first floor housed shops while the second and third floors were used as a hotel.
Elegant Invites
A stately invitation suite got guests excited for the couple’s weekend celebration!
Exchanging Notes While Getting Ready
The groom also read his heartwarming note from the bride as he added a few last minute touches to his outfit.
Struttin’ In Style
The bridal party strutted their stuff in sleek outfits! The bridesmaids looked lovely in strapless short dresses, and the groomsmen were handsome in brown coats, blue shirts, and matching peach ties.
A Romantic Bridal Look
This bride’s look was so effortless! She dazzled in a dreamy gown with gold lace accents, and a bouquet of cream and light pink garden roses was a wonderful complement to her dress.
A Grand Ceremony
The ceremony started with exquisite live music by a string duo inside a grand ballroom.
A Timeless Reception
The couple’s ethereal chic soirée incorporated vintage-inspired style and hues of white, pink, and gold. The reception took place at McCrady’s Restaurant, which is also in the heart of Downtown Charleston and reflects the classic architecture of the historic South.
Wine bottles labeled with table numbers lead guests to their table.
Every detail of the reception was simple yet refined. A cute wire “Mr. and Mrs.” cake topper and peach-colored flowers dressed up their three-tiered wedding cake.
Placed at each table was a touching note from the bride and groom thanking their guests for joining them on their special day.
Joyful End To The Day
Everyone danced into the evening to celebrate the amazing couple!
