A gorgeous couple, the sweetest flower girl, dazzling details and a doughnut bar for guests all make this Cambodian-American wedding a day that will not be forgotten. Keep scrolling to read about how this couple’s history inspired their beautiful wedding day.
A Beautiful and Non Traditional Venue
Guests traveled from near and far to celebrate the couple’s special wedding day. They opted for a traditional, American wedding ceremony at a non-traditional venue – The Stevens Estate in Andover, MA. This historic venue was built in the late 1800’s and is one of the last, grandest Victorian estates left in North America. The expansive gardens acted as the perfect backdrop for their beautiful ceremony.
The bride and groom got ready in a relaxed setting with the perfect details for their wedding day.
The bridesmaids helped the bride slip into her gorgeous long-sleeved gown before they celebrated the big day with a champagne toast.
The Perfect Party
There’s nothing better on your wedding day than to be surrounded by your family and friends. The bride and groom had a wedding party full of loved ones who had just as much fun as they did.
The bridesmaids looked gorgeous in their gowns in varying shades of blush – the dresses complimented the bride’s bouquet perfectly.
The groomsmen definitely knew how to have fun in their trendy suspenders and bowties – they were the perfect compliment to the bride and her maids!
The flower girl could not have been any cuter – the couple’s baby girl got all dressed up and got to be a part of the wedding too!
A Sweet Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was as sweet as can be with floral details everywhere you looked. The flower girl rode down the aisle in style with her “Here Comes the Bride” Sign as the groom waited for his beautiful bride.
The ceremony was surrounded by lush green gardens. The bride walked down the aisle towards her groom and they exchanged vows under a gorgeous pergola draped with a macrame hanging and pretty pink blooms.
Wedding guests cheered and snapped photos as the bride and groom made their way back down the aisle with the daughter after they shared their first kiss as husband and wife.
Elegant Centerpieces
At the reception, the table centerpieces were elegant and simple making the perfect tablescape for this dazzling reception.
A touch of gold was infused into the tablescape with heart shaped place card holders.
Their wedding favors were as sweet as the rest of their day – pretty potted plants for each guest to take home with them.
The Cake Cutting
The cake was nothing short of breathtaking. It was a simple naked cake topped with pink peonies and a cake topper that read ‘Forever My Always’.
Guests gathered around as they cut the cake and shared a piece as husband and wife.
A Dazzling Reception
Once the ceremony was over, it was time for the fun to begin – that’s when the couple infused some of their Cambodian heritage into their special day. Dressed in traditional Khmer bridal dress, the bride was ready to have some fun at her reception.
The Sweetest Sweets
The couple treated their guests to lots of sweets to choose from, including gold dusted cupcakes and a doughnut bar! Pink petals and big blooms decorated the cake and doughnut table.
This dazzling doughnut wedding wouldn’t be complete without the bride and groom sharing a glazed doughnut!
A Sweet Toss
The bride and groom had a box full of flower petals and paper cones to put them in with the intent for guest to toss them each time they shared a kiss – what a sweet sentiment and the perfect way to celebrate the newlyweds! With a gorgeous color palette, a stunning venue and a beautiful bride and groom, this dazzling doughnut wedding is one that guests will look back on for years to come!
