A Beautiful Day in Costa Brava
The bride and groom decided on a destination wedding off the coast of Spain. They chose to exchange their vows in front of close family and friends in the beautiful region of Costa Brava.
The views of Costa Brava were breath-taking. White buildings with terra cotta colored roofs filled the shoreline and stood out against the brilliant blue of the water.
Gifts for the wedding party were carefully put together and were ready to open while everyone got ready. A cute canvas bag with ‘Maid of Honor’ written in gold was a lovely touch to honor the brides’s best lady.
The bride’s accessories for her wedding day were stunning. Her shoes were the perfect color of nude and had jewels encrusted into the upper heel. Her bouquet was a gorgeous arrangement of pink and white blooms with blue succulents.
Cheers! The bride and her maid of honor had a celebratory mimosa as they got ready for the wedding ceremony.
Jessica’s gown was stunning with a gorgeous lace overlay that spilled onto the floor. It had the most delicate lace straps that added a special finishing touch on an already beautiful dress.
The groom’s details were just as perfect for their Spanish themed wedding. Laid out were the groom’s essentials for the big day. The blue floral tie, black belt, silver cuff links, silver watch, and taupe shoes came together nicely.
With a light blue shirt and a navy blue suit, his floral tie complemented his outfit.
The most beautiful and meaningful wedding accessories were their rings! No wedding is complete without a beautiful ring shot, and this one takes the cake with the beautiful sea as a backdrop.
First Looks and Memorable Moments
There’s nothing more special than the first looks on a wedding day. This bride and groom could not stop smiling after they saw each other for the first time on their special day.
The groom’s smile says it all! When he first saw his bride, he was beaming.
The couple shared a candid shot as the groom helped the bride down the stairs to their photo shoot destination. They took a few photos around the white and terra cotta color buildings around town.
Embracing in front of a set of Spanish styled doors, the bride and groom shared a couple of special moments together before saying their “I Do’s”. Their pre-wedding photo shoot was filled with lots of smiles and laughter. One last hug was exchanged between the couple before the parted ways to get ready for their ceremony.
What’s a groom without his best man? The groom and his best man posed for a few photos together as well.
With beautiful arches, white stucco walls, and blue window panels, Hotel Sant Roc was the ideal venue for their wedding day.
With her bouquet in one hand and dad in the other, the bride was grinning as her dad walked her down the aisle towards the groom.
The happy couple exchanged their vows in front of close family and friends.
Once they were pronounced husband and wife, they shared their first kiss. It was a lovely way to end their ceremony.
A Spanish Reception
Once the ceremony was complete, it was time for the party to start!
Stunning views overlooked the blue-green sea, making their reception venue all the more perfect.
The reception was decorated with travel-inspired decor, commemorating their destination wedding. Guests could take envelope favors for a momento and were encouraged to take photos incorporating their fun hashtag.
Their wedding cake was two-tiered with flowers and succulents cascading down it. Baby’s Breath rimmed the bottom of the cake adding a lovely touch. It sat atop a wood charger cake plate and was topped with adorable penguin figurines.
The tables were filled with stunning blooms as well. Small glass jars wrapped in burlap and twine were perfect vessels for the small collections of flowers.
Before the afternoon reception started, the bride changed into an beautiful white jumpsuit and wore a lovely floral crown while the groom swapped his jacket for a dapper vest. Both were great options to start off the evening in!
The newly married couple looked joyful as they dug into their cake cutting ceremony!
Careful not to miss the other’s mouth, they fed each other a piece of their gorgeous cake and posed for a photo.
Doily cones filled with flowers and flower petals were given to each guest for the grand exit.
Guests showered the bride and groom with flower petals as they made their exit walking hand in hand as husband and wife.
A Spanish wedding in Costa Brava was the perfect place to celebrate and begin the joining of their two lives together as one. They will remember their romatic, special day for years and years to come.
