What’s sweeter than a shower that matches baby number two’s nursery? Not much when it’s a chic desert themed baby shower. With rustic desert inspired details and lots of entertainment, no detail was overlooked.
Chic Desert Decor
The decor for this theme was so sweet and perfect for the mom-to-be. She was planning a desert-inspired nursery for her little one so the baby shower’s decor followed suit. Wooden tee-pees were constructed for the middle of each table and were adorned with an adorable arrangement of flowers, feathers and air plants.
Each mini arrangement was bursting with color and matched the shower’s color palette perfectly.
A place setting was set at each seat, complete with a sprig of greenery to dress up the plate. The simplicity was perfect!

Desert Inspired Refreshments
A themed party isn’t complete without treats to match! Custom cactus cookies were created for this baby shower. With bright green frosting and little orange flowers, these cookies were perfect for the theme!
A mimosa bar was set up with all the ingredients for a tasty cocktail (or mocktail!). Even the signage for each station was desert themed, and the greenery on the mimosa bar table was perfect for the theme as well.
Classic Party Games
A party is nothing without great entertainment, and guests at this chic shower were kept busy with fun baby shower games. The classic game of Price is Right was played where guests guess the price of a baby product. Guests had to guess the price of items such as milk storage bags, baby wipes and socks.
The person who’s total price was closest to the actual total price won a prize!
Sweet Sentiments
Mom needs a pick me up during the late night diaper changes, so each guest got to leave her a little bit of encouragement on a diaper.
When she or dad is up late with baby, they can read the sweet messages from their shower guests. What a fun motivation in the middle of the night!
Desert Inspired Favors
No shower is complete without shower favors! Each guest was invited to take a succulent home with them as a parting gift! What a sweet way to remember the shower for mom-to-be.
