Remember this vibrant Indian fusion wedding? Day one of this big celebration is just as amazing! This destination wedding in the Southern Highlands of Australia was drenched with love–the couple’s love of music, travel, books and of course, family and friends. Get ready to swoon over these nine dazzling details from their estate fall wedding!
1. A Gorgeous Estate and Bookshop
The couple chose one dreamy venue, the magnificent Bendooley Estate. With pockets of beautiful backdrops, lakes, vineyards, autumn leaves, rolling hills and golden fields, it was a wonderful space for their big day.
The two love reading, and the Book Barn, a bookshop that’s part of the Bendooley Estate, was a lovely multi-functional space for the reception on day two!
2. Groom’s Dapper Blue Look
We loved the groom’s dapper look in a sleek blue suit and blue bow tie.
3. Beautiful Classic Bride
The bride looked beautiful in a strapless gown and delicate cathedral veil.
Pretty blush and white flowers were a finishing touch to her updo.
4. Elegant Bouquets
Peonies, roses, tulips, and carnations in peach, pink and white made sweet and splendid bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids.
5. The Bridal Party
The bridal party looked incredible! Bridesmaids wore long blush halter dresses, and groomsmen donned navy suits and light blue bow ties.
6. A Magical Outdoor Ceremony
With golden light glinting through the pine trees and autumn leaves falling around her, the bride made her way down the aisle. The ceremony was beautiful under the pines and fall foliage, plus the weather was perfect!
Guests were surprised by a performance by Abby Dobson, member of Aussie band Leonardo’s Bride, who sang “All You Need Is Love” by The Beatles as the bride walked down the aisle. When Abby sang her hit “Even When I’m Sleeping,” a favorite song of the groom’s father, he sat back and closed his eyes listening to the music overcome with emotion.
7. Sweet Favors
Cute Lovehearts were the sweetest wedding favors for guests!
8. White and Blush Reception
The reception was opulent with all-white ceiling draping, white paper lanterns, and pops of pink flowers and pink dinner menus.
9. Fresh Wedding Cake
A simple cake topped with blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries, was a fresh take on a traditional wedding cake.
