For the wedding ceremony, the bride shone in a traditional red and white sari, and the groom looked handsome in a gold and red sherwani. Their wedding portraits taken in front of the temple were simply breathtaking!
3. A Traditional Hindu Ceremony
The couple’s wedding kicked off with the groom’s baraat. The baraat is a singing and dancing wedding procession of the groom and his family, which typically includes luxury cars, horses, and lively music.
Next followed the traditional Hindu wedding ceremony which was a glistening affair in blue and white.
One important part of a traditional Hindu ceremony is the saptapadi. During this time, the bride and groom take seven steps which symbolize different aspects of marriage such as respect, honor, strength, prosperity, wisdom, health, and affection. For this couple’s ceremony, instead of taking seven steps together, the bride and groom touched seven beetlenuts with their right toe.

The bride and groom jumped into a white vintage Rolls Royce to make their way to the reception hall.
