Charleston, South Carolina is a picture perfect city and great for an adorable shabby-chic wedding. This sweet couple’s Charleston “I do’s” left no detail behind, from the seersucker suits to the old southern style venue. The day was overflowing with floral arrangements accented with soft pastels and love all around! Keep reading to see our favorite moments from this picturesque day.
It’s All In the Details
This adorable table featured two floral painted globes for guests to sign upon arrival as a keepsake for the bride and groom, such a cute idea! There were also photos of the bride and grooms parents at their weddings for a sweet sentimental touch. The bride hand picked everything for this cute set-up as well as all the other adorable pieces for the wedding.
Celebrating With Sweets
The bride and her bridesmaids enjoyed some pre-ceremony snacks complete with croissants and cake pops! This little morning of party was just the right way to calm any nerves and have some fun girl time before the bride went from Miss to Mrs!
First Kiss
The newly weds shared their first kiss in front of a breathtaking backdrop. The pond and wooden arch made for a gorgeous moment with the vintage chandelier adding the perfect shabby-chic touch.
Wonderful Wedding Party Style
The wedding party coordinated perfectly with the look of the wedding. The bridesmaids were stunning in blush gowns and bouquets that accented the bride perfectly.
A seersucker suit is not the most traditional look for a groom and his guys on his wedding day but these guys couldn’t have looking more dashing! With pink bow-ties to pull it all together, these southern boys fit the Charleston setting in style.
Time to Celebrate
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the reception. The venue was filled with reminders of the couples love as friends and family walked under a “love is sweet” banner on their way to the reception celebration.
The tables were dressed with more gorgeous greenery and silver candelabras to compliment the outdoor setting. These details popped against the vintage tables and white chairs which were just the right mix for the shabby-chic style.
Fun Favors
The bride and groom had custom drink sleeves for the reception and provided guests with their own as a fun favor! With one designed by the bride and one by the groom, guests were sure to leave with more than one way to remember the wedding.
Happily Ever After
The bride and groom shared a cute moment on the dance floor surrounded by loved ones after their perfect day. This Charleston wedding was beyond beautiful, but not as beautiful as the love between this adorable bride and groom!
