This couple first met at a local rock climbing gym, and it was only fitting they got married with majestic mountains as their backdrop. Keep scrolling to see a few beautiful reasons why this Colorado wedding will steal your heart!
1. Heartfelt Touches
To incorporate “something blue” to her dress, the bride had a piece of her great-grandmother’s handkerchief with a blue flower on it sewn onto the inside of her dress.
The bride looked amazing in two chic white gowns.
2. The First Look
This first look between the bride and groom gives us all the feels!
3. A Fun Bridal Party
The bridal party was bouncing with energy! The bridesmaids and groomsmen had loads of fun on the couple’s big day.
4. Breathtaking Backdrops
Magnificent scenery was all around as the bridal party snapped shots before the ceremony.
5. A Furry Friend
The couple wanted their dog, Finn, to be part of their special day since he’s part of the family. The groom’s mother had a bow tie made for him to wear to match all the groomsmen’s ties, and he was even in part of the ceremony!
6. A Romantic Ceremony
Although it meant having all their family and most of their friends travel for their wedding, the couple wanted them to see where they were going to be starting their lives together and experience all that Boulder, Colorado has to offer. A romantic ceremony in Chautauqua Park with a spectacular vista was a great way for guests to experience the beauty of the area.
7. Perfect Details
The bride really wanted their wedding to reflect both of their personalities. Since they both like to climb, the bride tied a simple figure eight knot onto each of the escort cards using p-cord.
Mini maple syrup wedding favors from Vermont were a cute nod to the bride’s home state.
Reception tables were named after places the bride and groom loved. Some of tables were named of climbing crags they frequented, and others were named by far away destinations they had traveled to.
8. An Engagement Ring With A Story
The bride’s engagement ring story was one for the books! Both her mother and the groom’s mother have ruby engagement rings. The bride’s birthstone is also a ruby, and when it came time for the groom to choose an engagement ring, it was only natural that he pick a ruby! The diamonds in her ring are from a pair of the groom’s mother’s earrings and the setting is similar to the bride’s mother’s engagement ring.
