There’s an infectious excitement at a bridal shower, and it’s so special to have all of the joyous emotions and special details captured by a professional photographer. This springtime shower, photographed by Irving Photography, is bursting with light and the lovely shade of lavender.
From mimosas and muffins to kitchen-themed bridal shower gifts and games, this celebration will inspire your next shower whether you are hosting or attending as the bride-to-be! Scroll through and see how many special details you can spot. The “rose” napkins tucked in teacups might be our favorite!
The bride, Sara, tells everything about the design and ideas behind this delightful shower:
Being engaged is the most wonderful feeling in the entire world; the well-wishes, the wedding planning, the champagne toasts… but most of all, the promise of marrying the man of my dreams and the hopes we have for the future make this a period of time I will always remember. Chris and I love to cook, but haven’t had a chance to fully stock our kitchen. That is why I decided to have a spring kitchen shower! What better way to start a life with someone than with all the tools needed to whisk, chop, and sautee together?
A Lavender Color Scheme
My August wedding will be themed in lavender and gray, so obviously I’m seeing everything in the soft purple-y hue. Needless to say, I couldn’t resist decking out another event in my favorite color. Thus, our Lavender Spring Kitchen Shower. Yes, it’s a wordy shower title, but it’s what I wanted… and that’s what bridal showers are all about, right? I was so excited for the big day, but was absolutely blown away when I walked into the Wands and Wishes venue.
The ivories and whites transformed the whimsical lavenders into a classy scene, while the pops of green topiaries brought in a tasteful hint of springtime greenery.
Sweet Breakfast Treats
Since this was a morning affair, the mini cinnamon roll “cake” was the perfect touch of sweetness and guests went home with adorable heart-shaped measuring spoons perfectly packaged for the occasion.
Cute Bridal Shower Favors
Game winners even got to head home with a lovely Victorian key bottle opener that they can use to pop open a cold one, come 5 o’clock.
I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect bridal shower, which was captured elegantly by Irving Photography! [I enjoyed] the gifts, the friends, the family, the food, the mimosas… but most of all, the thought of cooking with Chris for the rest of my life.
