Organizing a bridal shower can seem like a daunting task, but there are easy ways to host a stylish shower with details the bride will love. Adair Currie of Dairing Events in collaboration with Liz Stewart Floral Designs and Soulshine Rentals designed a chic champagne brunch bridal shower with lovely feminine touches of pink and gold. We share a few pointers from the fabulous event that will help with planning!
Pick the Perfect Venue
It’s important to find a venue in advance to secure either an intimate space for a small group or a larger venue for a bigger group of guests. Blue Jay, an event venue in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, was the ideal location just a few blocks from the beach.
Invite the Bride’s Closest Gals
There’s nothing like a party with your gal pals! If the party is a surprise, enlist one of the bride’s best friends or close family to help with the guest list and preparation.
Give Sparkly Favors
Add some shimmer to a table with a pretty favor display. These gold glitter favor boxes are the right size for a small gift for guests, such as macaroons or candies.
DIY Champagne Cocktails
It’s not brunch without champagne! Set up a self-serve champagne cocktail bar where guests can mix up their own fruity concoctions.
Give your guests a variety of options to create a tasty cocktail, and even display a sign with simple recipes as inspiration. Mix champagne, orange juice, cranberry juice and lemon zest for a refreshing Sicilian Sunset. For a non-alcoholic drink, stir fresh juices with ONLI sparkling water flavors like Hibiscus Pomegranate Strawberry or Grapefruit Pomelo Peach.
Party Planning Tip: Set one champagne bottle aside on the table just for guests to leave special wishes for the bride!
Create a Cute Mini Dessert Table
Dress up a dessert table with a cute DIY backdrop. Glue silk flowers to heavy poster board in the shape of a fun design or saying. This floral “Oh La La” design is a darling focal point.
Elegant Place Settings
Use a stylish gold frame to serve as a place card setting and allow guests to save their favor for a favorite photo of their own.
A customized cookie with the couple’s initials is another sweet favor guests can take home.
Simply Delicious Bites
Keep the food simple for a bridal brunch. Croissant sandwiches, fruit and yogurt parfaits or veggies with dip are effortless options to keep guests full and happy.
